i made those for someone on a personal chef gig a couple years ago. the meat inside had a touch of cinnamon and a few raisins tossed in. it was pretty good.
A slice of rye bread with lard, salted herring and raw onion. Eaten with cold beer and icecold snaps.

The Döner Kebab was invented in Berlin!Hate to break it to you, the Doner Kebab isn't german. The turks brought the dish to Europe and it developed what you can get at a doner stand. But sorry, Germans (nor the dutch) can take credit for that one.
And Schnitzels originate from Austria, and last time I checked my map, that's not German either. Though evidently there is a debate to the origins...it could have been created in Austria by Polish and/or German troops. Either way...they come from Austria.
So I guess you Germans don't rule all that much.
Also... Currysausage.... are you trying to say that Germany is the country of origin for Curry?
