That's dumb and I can't see DPC doing focused content like that ever. I'm not even sure what you think it "explains" either.
What seems likely to me is we're still going to get episodes like we normally do for maybe one or 2 episodes and then we'll get episodes that basically conclude the story and give us epilogues but he won't do it in a "one-a-time", DLC sort of way where every few months another branch gets its ending. He's already said before in a Q&A he's not a fan of part releases like that and would rather put it all out at once, so even when it comes to the endings, we're likely to get all of them all at once in one episode.
He'll never do that, see why above.

That was intended to people saying the story ends in EP12, but in reality what will happen is that we get the major events left in the spring semester and the epilogues being your chosen love interest.

I still feel epilogues will all be in one big episode, not eked out piecemeal style.
Biggest reason why is think it about it this way; let's say the epilogue episode gives us the conclusion to the main story, the universal stuff we all know about, but only gives you the endings for Sage and Jill. The problem you have there is that it only satisfies part of the fanbase whilst also revealing the main ending to the game and thus potentially spoiling it for those not interested in or even not playing those paths. DPC would never want people to know how the story ends before getting the ending with girl(s) they want. He's also not just going to have the endings for each girl and leave out the universal ending until they're all done and I also don't think he'd do the universal ending and then each epilogue one at at time. DPC interweaves so much of this game that the universal and branch endings will surely be interwoven as well.
It might take a really long time to do all the endings in one episode, but one thing we know we about DPC is that he'll take however long he feels is needed to do that and not feel like he has to put out the ending in pieces just to keep people happy.

It is pretty much what I said earlier where we would have episodes that cover holidays and events such as valentines, spring break and finals with the final big bang being the epilogue episode.
Once he releases that final epilogue episode, he will start losing patreon supporters (Maybe not, summertime saga donors still exist btw) even if he starts reworking cause the entire thing is finished.

As much as we want there to be something crazy behind the door at Bellas, it's more than likely going to just be a room full of James' stuff that she would obsess over.

In s4, I think at some point should be get the ending for few route. Specifically for other "girl" hots/pub route.
So they could focus on the main route or other "main girl" such as riona/Heather or Quinn

Simple answer... He can't. It's pretty much Maya's contract all over again. The mysteries have bee dragged on too long now it's now venturing into the relief of a reveal rather than excitement of reveal.

I admit that it would be pretty uncommon to spread epilogues out over multiple episodes/DLC, but it has been done before (I can think of 1 game but they charged money for the final epilogue dlc). Considering how many endings there could be however it could be expected to spread them over at least 2-3 epilogues/packs. What I currently think of:
- At least a DIK and CHICK ending per MG with probably a third independent ending based on TC. My guess is that NEUTRAL route's endings can be either the normal DIK or CHICK ending but maybe based on how many post-ep8 (or even total overall) major choices you made combined with your status
- 1-2 endings per SG that have a "confirmed" route
- Endings based on how often you had sex and with whom without ending in one of the above routes.
- Maybe 5 Zoey endings: 1 per switch from MG and 1 from others
- Maybe two "secret" fun endings: An extreme dark ending where MC comes a die-hard criminal like Vinny if you choose every DIK option (both major and minor), or an extreme positive ending where MC acts like an angel if you choose every CHICK option.
It's still possible that besides the already "confirmed" Bianca route and probable Cindy route, there will be more new last-minute routes added in episode 12 (Sally, Mel and Sarah come to mind, with if Sarah happens it will almost certainly be an open relationship)
Like Darkwen said, it could easily go to 50 and possibly even more.

DPC has said not all Others are going to get endings. We can make an educated guess at what girls will... Mainly Zoey, Lilly, Nicole based on the fact we can commit to them and Quinn because DPC sees her as the antagonist. Anyone else on the others run may be nothing more than a foot note in the ending.

With Others I'm pretty certain Riona and Cathy will also get their own endings, considering they have a path in the variables (unless Cathy is just a red herring for extra content on the jade route).

All those endings were just in one episode though, the last one. He put all epilogues in a single episode and the 2nd last episode set up the main story ending of the last episode.
At the pace this story is going the final "big bang" episode is going to be way before any of those events and it might then skip to Spring Break as part of the last episode because the big plotlines, mainly the drugs one, surely aren't going to be dragged out until about May within the game. Consequences are and conclusions are coming faster than that.
And who cares if he loses patrons after the last episode? That's to be expected when you finish the thing people there for and he'll already have made out like out like a bandit by then thanks to all his revenue streams.

Cathy is definitely one I think will be a footnote, other than being a 3rd with Jade and MC she's pretty much done.

I've simply got no idea why people are insistant that we get to Spring Break. unless you're on the others path, It will not be the event people think it is... By Spring Break MC would be in a committed relationship with the MGs so spring break would likely consist of going away somewhere with his partner (some of which he's dropped the L bomb too) it's more likely to be told on rails than a massive freeroam

Honestly, I see him going down the same route as AL with the endings in that a lot of the game's ending will be universal, it will just swap characters in and out of certain scenes based on your path and choices, then there will be the unique scenes which isn't much different to how branches already have their own uniques scenes. Most everything else like Affinity and some if not a lot of choices could probably easily just be covered with dialogue differences and the odd variation in renders.
All of that should probably make being able to do all the epilogues far less complex than if he were to make every path 100% unique, and sure, DPC may not necessarily go with such an easy route, but he is also someone we've seen plenty evidence of making many scenes mostly variable. So him making the epilogues mostly variable would fit too, imo, and make it very possible to do all endings in one episode, particularly the biggest ones like the MGs and the most prominent SGs. If he did any sort of DLC epilogues to add to it then it would probably be for characters like Cami, Mel, Sarah, Sally, etc, the extremely side girls.
